The heterogeneity of the Gängeviertel shows the most in the social relations of its activists and the different concepts of living together. Individual apartments, small families and huge shared flats coexist here. Drop-outs, artists, academics, and ravers try find common ground for a utopian society. Years of living and working together have forged aamong the hundreds of activists – a small village in the middle of the big city. We fight, love, discuss, dream and try to reconcile an often demanding project with the necessities of the so called “real world”.
